Three Highly Polished, Hardened Tool Steel Rotary Cutoff Screws with Precision Thread Ground Grooves : Gently separates can ends with virtually no scratching or scuffing. Eliminates the necessity for time consuming, inaccurate shimming. Removal is instant in the event maintenance is required. Provides faster changeover (typically less than ten minutes on single lane machines) than older style equipment.

Three Stop Fingers for Stack Height Control are an Integral Part of the Cutoff Assembly : By eliminating old style stack height control, the table top remains cleaner, safer and uncluttered

Below Table Drive : Keeps table top clean and uncluttered.

No Stack Weight on Feed Bars : Reduces frictional load on reciprocating feed bars and cutoff blade.

Superior Ball SLide Assembly for Reduced Wear and Maintenance : Lower friction and kinetic energy than conventional types. Reduced vibration loads. Lower connection rod loads. Mounts to existing table top and connection rod. Easy field installation. No shimming gibs required. Helps increase machine speeds.

Advanced Composite Material in Place of Bearing Lubrication Points : Minimizes lubrication points to the machine.

Light Weight Feed Bars : Lighter weight results in less mass thrown back and forth, reducing the friction on the assembly.

Hardened Tool Steel Feed Bar Fingers and Throat : Provides significantly longer life than unhardened steel types.

Simplified Gearing : No planetary gears and fewer parts to wear during normal operation. Results in less downtime in the event maintenance is required.

Short End Drop : Ideal for high speed applications. The end drop is not dependent on chuck lift. Infinite Timing : Simplifies timing of rotary cutoff screws for precise end separation compared to conventional style cutoff systems.

Unlimited Can Sizes Accommodated : Di-Tec produces Downstacker Assemblies for can sizes from #200 to #603. A different size rotary cutoff assembly is required for each size. Only 10 minutes is required for changeover from one size to another since the Di-Tec assemblies are already pre-set and are designed for rapid interchangeability.

Short Turnaround Time for Modernization, Upgrade and Retrofit : Typically, with about 90 days advance notice, the customer's machine is required only two to three weeks in our shop, since all parts and assemblies can be prefabricated.

Unlimited End Profiles Accommodated : From flat panel to aerosol dome top end separation versions can be accomodated.

Rotary Cutoff Also Available for Other Applications : End separation applications such as inspection tables, seamers, washers etc. can also be accommodated.
